9,905 CANDIDATES WRITE 2016 LICENSING EXAMINATION FOR AUXILIARY PROGRAMMES

A total number of 9,905 Candidates are writing this year’s licensing examination for the auxiliary programmes in 33 examination centers across the country.

7,534 candidates are writing for the Nurse Assistant Clinical programme whiles 2,371 are writing for the Nurse Assistant Preventive programme.

The examination which started on Monday October 31, 2016 is expected to end on Tuesday November 1, 2016

A visit to Wisconsin University College, which is the venue for the Accra examination center revealed a calm atmosphere with candidates busily answering questions.

The Coordinator for the Accra Center, Mrs. Victoria Lamina in an interview disclosed that the beginning of the conduct of examination was incident free with no record of examination malpractice.

She congratulated the candidates for their level of comportment and also commended the invigilators for ensuring a smooth takeoff.
She said that she was optimistic that the examination will end on Tuesday on a positive note.

Information also gathered from the other centers indicates that the beginning of the conduct of this year’s licensing examination for the auxiliary programme has been smooth.
