THE UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST TO OFFER BSC NURSING AND MIDWIFERY PROGRAMME AT NMTC KUMASI

The University of Cape Coast is commencing a site-based BSc Nursing and Midwifery programme with NMTC Kumasi.

The programme will enable diploma holders in nursing and midwifery to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing or midwifery from the University of Cape Coast.

 ELIGIBILITY/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a Registered General Nurse or Registered Midwife
  • Must have a Diploma in Nursing for the BSc Nursing or Diploma in Midwifery for the BSc Midwifery from an accredited public or private institution.

PROGRAMME MODULE

  1. The programme is site-based and will take place at the site (NMTC-Kumasi)
  2. The programme is exclusively a weekend
  3. The mode of instruction is a blend of face-to-face and online but skills/practical-based courses will be face-to-face only.
  4. The programme will adopt the BLOCK SYSTEM because of the enormous benefits of that system.
