The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association has assured members of free transportation for members in locked down covid-19 areas. This was revealed by the president of the association this morning in a Facebook live interaction.

According to the president, GRNMA is negotiating with BOLT, a ride-hailing company that provides a fast and affordable ride. The agreement will enable members of GRNMA to get free transportation to work in the covid-19 locked down areas that are, Accra, Tema and Kumasi.
GRNMA is also in talks with the Ministry of Health to release buses of Nurses and Midwifery Training colleges to be used for transporting nurses and midwives in the locked-down areas. GRNMA assured it doing its best to protect the interest of nurses and midwives.
