The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has emerged winner of the National Nurses and Midwives Quiz competition organized by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with Renef Foundation in celebration of the “Year of the Nurse and Midwife”.
Being the maiden edition, the quiz competition was organized in three zones with winners from the various zones competing at the grand finale. Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology beat Garden City University College, Premier NMTC, and Royal Ann Academy NMTC with a total point of 56 to qualify to the grand finale joining University of Energy and Natural Resources, and University of Ghana.
The grand finale took place at the GRNMA Regional Hostel, Korle Bu last Saturday 15th May 2021. KNUST emerged winners at the end of the contest followed by University of Energy and Natural Resources, then University of Ghana.
The event will continue annually with more Nursing and Midwifery Training Schools added.
