Miss Aisha Bawa of Ashanti Region wins the second edition of the National Best Nurse/Midwife award for 2021. The event was held yesterday at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra to honour various nurses and midwives for their outstanding contribution to the profession.
Among 10 finalists from the various regions, Aisha was adjudged the national best Nurse/Midwife for 2021. She was presented with a brand new car valued at over GHC100,000, a laptop, and a citation.
Miss Aisha Bawa holds a diploma from KMNTC and a BSc in Midwifery from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. She has been phenomenal in championing Newborn Care at the Manhyia District Hospital and also the Focal Person, advocating for Maternal and Newborn health and many other things.
