NEWLY QUALIFIED NURSES AND MIDWIVES TO BEGIN 2023/2024 NATIONAL SERVICE

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) would like to inform its cherished stakeholders that the Council is collaborating with the National Service Secretariat (NSS) for the commencement of the 2023/2024 national service for Nurses and Midwives who qualified in 2022.

Pursuant to this, newly qualified nurses and midwives are kindly requested to take note of the following:

1. The N&MC will present the names of qualified nurses and midwives who have fully paid for the N&MC registration fee and have completed the registration process to the NSS by November 14, 2022.

2. Newly qualified Nurses and Midwives who have paid the registration fee but have not yet completed the registration process should kindly visit offices before November 11, 2022, to complete the process

3. Newly qualified Nurses and Midwives who have not yet paid the registration fee should kindly pay at either GCB or ADB and proceed to any of our regional offices to complete the registration process before November 11, 2022.

4. Persons who are unable to pay for the registration fee or complete the registration process will not have their names as part of the list to be presented to NSS and as a result cannot do the National Service for the 2023/2024 service year but at a later date.
