NMC DONATE ITEMS TO CONJOINED TWINS AT RIDGE HOSPITAL

The Management of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) led by the Registrar, Mr. Felix Nyante, and some Senior Staff of the Council on Wednesday, July 21 donated assorted items to the conjoined twins at the Ridge Hospital (Greater Accra Regional Hospital). The donated items included washing powder, bathing soaps, disinfectants, diapers, baby wipes, and others.

Assisted by some Senior Staff of the Council, the Deputy Registrar, Mrs. Philomina Woolley who presented the items noted that upon hearing the news about the conjoined twins and the first of its kind in Ghana, Management and some Senior Staff decided to individually contribute towards the purchase of the items.

Mrs. Woolley said the Council was praying fervently for a successful surgery to separate the babies.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Parents of the conjoined twins, Madam Rebecca Agyare-Asante, Head of Nursing and Midwifery services at the hospital thanked the team for the kind gesture adding that ‘this will put smiles on the faces of the Parents’
