NURSING STUDENTS UNABLE TO CHECK RESULTS AS NMC’S RESULTS CHECKER WEBSITE KEEPS FAILING TO LOAD

Published on

In 2019, the nursing and midwifery council of Ghana introduced online checking of results for licensure examinations. This was welcomed as great news due to its numerous advantages. Before the introduction of the online checking of results, students had to travel to their schools to check their results. This became convenient for most students as they could check at the comfort of their homes.

But for every innovation, there are bound to be challenges. Since the introduction of the online checking of results, the system becomes difficult to access as students try to use the website. The recent results for 2020 have not been different. Many students have complained about their inability to access the website as it keeps failing to load. This has caused a lot of anxiety among a lot of students. The website went off for almost three days including Nursing and Midwifery’s main website. Surprisingly, the council did not release any statement leaving students more anxious. As of today, the website however seems to load but until after several tries. However, I hope NMC resolves this annual technical challenge.
