TWO NURSES DELIVER A WOMAN IN LABOUR IN THE BUSH

Two nurses, a staff nurse and a community health nurse at Agyata in the Afram Plains South district deliver a woman in Labour in the bush.

According to information obtained, a Fulani herdsman reported to the nurses that one of their women was in labour in the bush around 9:15 am in the morning. The two nurses Acheampong Amos (SN) and Ruby Amenuveve (CHN) rushed to the scene accompanied by the man.

The nurses on arrival assisted the mother to deliver a baby boy within 12 minutes. The baby was later taken to the Agyata CHPS Zone for further neonatal care.
