UCC OPENS ADMISSION FOR BSC MIDWIFERY REGULAR PROGRAMME

The University of Cape Coast, Ghana (UCC) has opened admission for BSc in Midwifery for the 2022/2023 academic year. The program is open to SSCE/WASSCE applicants, Diploma midwives, and other professionals with nursing certificates such as SRN.

The e-vouchers can be purchased at the cost of GH¢ 220.00 for online application at the Centres listed below:

  1. All Ghana Post Offices
  2. University of Cape Coast – Accra Office, Tesano – Accra (Mode of payment – CASH)
  3. Cashier’s Office, University of Cape Coast (Mode of payment – CASH)
  4. All Network Branches of the following banks:
  1. GCB Bank
  2. ADB Bank
  3. GT Bank
  4. ARB Apex Bank
  5. Republic Bank
  6. Consolidated Bank
  7. Prudential Bank
  8. Zenith Bank

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

SSCE/WASSCE: Applicants with Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Elective Mathematics.

Diploma Holders: Midwives with Diploma (GPA 2.5 or better) may be admitted into level 300. A degree in General Nursing and Diploma in General/Community Health Nursing may be admitted into level 200

Other Professionals with Nursing certificates (SRN) and certificate in Midwifery may be admitted into level 200.

Applicants can apply online by visiting: https://apply.ucc.edu.gh and select “CLICK TO APPLY FOR PROGRAMME” and select “UNDERGRADUATE ENTRY” under “VERIFY VOUCHER” to proceed.

The deadline for sale of e-vouchers is 31st August 2022 and the submission of completed forms is on 7th September 2022.
