UNIVERSITY OF GHANA INTRODUCES MPHIL/MSC NURSING SANDWICH PROGRAMMES

The School of Nursing and Midwifery, College of Health Sciences of the University of Ghana has introduced Sandwich Programme in MPhil/MSc Nursing for Registered Nurses and Midwives. The programme is commences on July 2019.

The MPhil is recommended for Nurses and Midwives who wish to be in the academia whiles the MSc is recommended for Nurses and Midwives who wants to remain in the clinical area.

The MSc has two options; dissertation and non-dissertation. The non-dissertation option has special courses such as Forensic Nursing, Global and Undeserved Population, Foundations of Advance Nursing Practice, Health Policy Development and Analysis and Nursing Informatics and Telemedicine among others of which candidates can select two.

The Programme will run for six (6) weeks per block i.e. four (4) weeks in July and two (2) weeks in August every year.
