UPNMG Donates GHS 5,000 to Member for Surgery

Greater Accra Regional Branch of the Union of Professional Nurses and Midwives, Ghana (UPNMG) has donated a sum of GHS 5,000.00 to Miss Rita Atterh, a member of the union who needs surgery at the University of Ghana Medical Centre. The donation was made by the Regional President, the Secretary, and some members who are staff of the facility.

According to the Union, the donation is aimed at helping Miss Rita Atterh to undergo her surgery and aid her recovery process. The Greater Accra Regional Branch expressed their gratitude to the National leadership of the Union for responding swiftly to their request and making the fund available for Miss Atterh’s surgery.

The Union of Professional Nurses and Midwives in Ghana is known for its commitment to the welfare of its members and has always stood by them in times of need. The donation to Rita Atterh is just one of the many gestures the union has made in support of its members’ health and well-being.
