The Ministry of Health (MOH) has issued a disclaimer on the release of the nursing and midwifery application forms. According to MOH, there has been circulation on online news portals and social media that 2021 Admission forms for Health Training Institutions are on sale which the Ministry says it is false.
The Ministry has therefore issued a press statement below.
“The Ministry of Health has taken note of an announcement circulating on some online news portals and social media platforms about the sale of 2021 Admission Forms for prospective applicants wishing to enter the Public Health Training Institutions in 2021.
The Ministry wishes to notify the public, especially, parents and prospective applicants that, it has not commenced the sale of the 2021 admission forms yet.
The announcement circulating is not from the Ministry of Health but may have been designed to lure unsuspecting applicants to part with their money.
Please note that the Ministry will officially communicate the date for the sale of the 2021 Public Health Training Institution’s Admission forms.
The process for the application for entry into the Public Health Training Institutions is transparent and it starts with the purchase of application codes from a designated bank. After payment, applicants are given vouchers with a unique PIN code and Serial Number which has a validity period.
The applicant can only use the PIN code and Serial number to access the application online. Only applicants who meet the admission requirements will be invited to attend a competitive interview at the school of their choice.
The Ministry of Health is therefore urging the public to disregard the online and social media announcement regarding the 2021 admission into the Public Health Training Institutions since it is not authentic.”
