In an act of compassion and humanitarianism, the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has come to the rescue of a student nurse in desperate need of financial support to help her continue her medical treatment at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
Upon receiving an urgent request from the Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Cape Coast, the GRNMA swiftly acted to ensure the well-being of the trainee.
Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, the President of GRNMA, responded promptly to the plea, and a donation of GHC 20,000 was presented to the student nurse, Ms. Kelly Klass Kabason Anatua. The generous contribution was presented on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, and will help the student receive the necessary medical treatment at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
The family of the student, as well as the staff and students at the Training College, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the GRNMA and its President. The presentation of the donation was a deeply emotional moment for all involved.
The GRNMA has once again demonstrated its commitment to the health and well-being of the nursing and midwifery community in Ghana, and its unwavering support for those in need.
