LADY WHO WENT FOR NURSING INTERVIEW IN CAPE COAST FOUND DEAD

Georgina Asor Botchwey from Yeji who went missing after going for a nursing admission interview at Ankaful Nurses Training College in Cape Coast was found dead at Mankessim. She went for the interview in the early week of September but never returned.

Reports indicated that one pastor and a chief at the Tufohene of Ekumfi Akwakrom kidnapped her and may have had several bouts of sex with her and killed her.

The pastor was arrested by the Mankessim police in the Central Region and confessed to the crime. This led investigators to the room of the chief where the mortal remains of Georgina were exhumed.

The body has since been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital morgue pending autopsy.
