MINISTRY OF FINANCE ISSUES FINANCIAL CLEARANCE TO PAY ROTATION NURSES AND MIDWIVES

The Ministry of Health has been granted approval to enable the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department to pay allowances for four thousand, five hundred and sixty-three (4,563) Rotation Diploma Nurses and Midwives who have completed their licensure examination and have started their one-year mandatory Rotation at various health facilities across the country with effect from 1st February 2021 and have been verified by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.

The Chief Director of the Ministry of Health has been tasked to ensure that health interns have their documents processed in time and placed on the mechanized Payroll to enable the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department to effect payment of the rotation allowance of eight hundred and seventy-one Ghana cedis (GH₵871.00) per month.

The Rotation Nurses and Midwives will be paid from 1st February 2021 to January 2022.
