The Ministry of health in a notice has indicated that the price of the clearance forms has been increased to GHS100 cedis. The forms were previously sold for GHS20 cedis. The price change is effective today, March 25, 2022.

Early this year, the forms run out as a result of many nurses seeking clearance to leave the country for better job opportunities outside the country especially the United Kingdom.

Some nurses and midwives have reacted to this new development. Some are of the view that no matter the amount they sell the forms, they are willing to buy them and seek better job opportunities elsewhere.
